Here’s a video to help!
Aren’t the times we are living in so interesting?
One minute, we’re up… so thankful to be alive, amazed by all of the goodness that surrounds us.
WOW!
The next minute, we’re down… feeling like foreigners, aliens in our own lives, wondering how we got here.
Wait.
What in the world is going on?
And… am I the only one who has felt this way lately?
If it seems like life has delivered a one-two punch to your joy bucket, you’re not alone. ππΌ
It’s ok.
I’ll be honest, the ever-changing world we are living in took a toll on me just last week.
After months and months of working hard, trying to do my best, striving to lift other people up, and going nonstop from morning to night, I had to take a few days off just to be.
To breathe.
To get a grip on what matters most.
To choose joy again.
Can you relate?
On one of my days off, I was thankful when the song, “Truth Be Told” came on. It really spoke to the way I was feeling. See if it speaks to you, too.
It reminded me of a recorded conversation I had in the fall with my dear friend, Tanya Auger.
I decided to search for the video of our interview. As I listened to the conversation, I began to wonder, maybe this would be helpful to someone in my tribe?
Maybe someone in my own group needs to hear this very message right now?
If so, here it is!
This video is for YOU if it would help you to know:
- How to cope when life isn’t easy
- How to live a full life, even after being more familiar with a flatline existence
- What the givers of the world must stop and consider if they don’t want to burn out
- Why you should never feel guilty when you are taking care of you
- Joy-finding strategies that you can put into practice starting today
- How nurturing joy in your life leads to resilience
- Where to begin when joy isn’t natural and must be a choice
- The awesomeness that comes from allowing yourself to get lost in the wonder of child-like thinking
Since life is busy, you can let it play in the background as you go about your day.
Or you can give it your full attention.
Either way, I believe it can help you get back on track.
It helped me.
If you would like the gifts I share with Tanya’s audience (at the end of the video), here they are: π
